Mission Statement
Our purpose is to help reduce the homeless pet population through responsible rehoming of pets and providing public education and resources to help reduce the unwanted and homeless pet population as well as provide disaster preparedness resources for pets.
Microchip IDs for cats and dogs for $25 with FREE life-time registration using 24PetWatch microchips. Call us for details or to set up an appointment.
Our current services include adopting homeless cats and providing microchipping services. As funding allows, we will be offering low cost vaccine clinics and low cost spaying and neutering options in the future. When opportunities are available, we will list them here.
Critters Companion is a 501(c)3 no-kill animal welfare organization located in Abrams, WI and all donations are tax-deductible. Donations will go to where they are needed most, which currently is to help offset the costs of vet care, spaying and neutering, and feeding the animals. We are in the planning stages for renovating our property to include a full-scale adoption center for cats and dogs, an education center (which will include pet disaster preparedness info), a low cost spay/neuter/vaccination/microchipping clinic, and temporary housing for lost or injured large animals.
In order to further our mission of saving unwanted pets lives, we are focusing our efforts to prevent unwanted pets. As a result, we will be re-directing resources to develop a low cost spay/neuter program that will allow low income pet owners to fix their pets and prevent unwanted litters.
