Zachary

Zachary is shy at first, but after he is settled he becomes a very lovable and fun cat. He enjoys playing with and loving on his human and dog companions. While he does get along with other cats, he really loves dogs the most, so he would fit best in a household with dogs. He is a 2 year old that has been neutered and micro-chipped. Zachary is shy with strangers, but like many cats, once he comes out of his shell, he is extremely affectionate and will come and ask for some loving! He also loves laying on window sills and looking out the window!

Adoption prices for our featured pets are $50.00. If interested, fill out the online adoption application.

He has been fixed, micro-chipped, and vaccinated. He comes with 30 days of shelter-care insurance, a 4 lb bag of science diet and a DVD/booklet on cat care.

Critters Companion is a 501(c)3 no-kill animal welfare organization located in Abrams, WI and all donations are tax-deductible.  Donations will go to where they are needed most, which currently is to help offset the costs of  vet care,  spaying and neutering, and feeding the animals.   We are in the planning stages for renovating our property to include a full-scale adoption center for cats and dogs, an education center (which will include pet disaster preparedness info), a low cost spay/neuter/vaccination/microchipping clinic, and temporary housing for lost or injured large animals.

In order to further our mission of saving unwanted pets lives, we are focusing our efforts to
prevent unwanted pets.  As a result, we will be re-directing resources to develop a low cost spay/neuter program that will allow low income pet owners to fix their pets and prevent unwanted litters.

Mission Statement

Our purpose is to help reduce the homeless pet population through responsible rehoming of pets and providing public education and resources to help reduce the unwanted and homeless pet population as well as provide disaster preparedness resources for pets.

Critters Companion supports the development of safe non surgical sterilization options for pets.  View our letter of support here.

Our first low cost vaccination/microchip clinic will be October, 2010 at the Pensaukee Town Hall, check back for updates.
