Due to an emergency horse rescue, we have rescheduled our 1/7 Petco Adoption Day to 1/14, so come visit us on 1/14 to find your new pet!

 FEATURED PET:

Sandy

Sandy is a very loveable kitty.  She is a 5 year old that is so full of spunk, love, and playfulness that you will think she is still a kitten!  She is very outgoing and loves to play with kitty toys and stuffed animals.

Sandy also loves to cuddle with her human companions and will find a soft spot on the bed and sleep.  She loves dogs and gets along with other cats and pets as well.

Sandy's special "featured pet" adoption fee is $50.

If interested, fill out the online adoption application.

How to Adopt

Go to our adoption list to find the pet(s) that you are interested in.  If you have any question call or e-mail us, then fill out the online adoption application.

After reviewing your application, we will contact you to set up an appointment to meet the pet(s) and if it's a match, then the adoption contract will be completed and another homeless pet has a new forever home!

Each pet is spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.  In addition, each cat comes with an instructional DVD and booklet, a Pet Naturals bag of nutritional treats, and 30 days of pet health insurance.

*Adoption fees are subject to change.  If you have any questions on a pet's adoption fee, feel free to ask.

Mission Statement
Our purpose is to help reduce the homeless pet population through responsible rehoming of pets and providing public education and resources to help reduce the unwanted and homeless pet population as well as provide disaster preparedness resources for pets.

Microchip IDs for cats and dogs for $25 with FREE life-time registration using 24PetWatch microchips.  Call us for details or to set up an appointment.

Our current services include adopting homeless cats and providing microchipping services.  As funding allows, we will be offering low cost vaccine clinics and low cost spaying and neutering options in the future.  When opportunities are available, we will list them here.

Critters Companion is a 501(c)3 no-kill animal welfare organization located in Abrams, WI and all donations are tax-deductible.  Donations will go to where they are needed most, which currently is to help offset the costs of  vet care,  spaying and neutering, and feeding the animals.   We are in the planning stages for renovating our property to include a full-scale adoption center for cats and dogs, an education center (which will include pet disaster preparedness info), a low cost spay/neuter/vaccination/microchipping clinic, and temporary housing for lost or injured large animals.

In order to further our mission of saving unwanted pets lives, we are focusing our efforts to
prevent unwanted pets.  As a result, we will be re-directing resources to develop a low cost spay/neuter program that will allow low income pet owners to fix their pets and prevent unwanted litters.
